The marking process is the stage of fabrication in which cutting lines, identification numbers, bolt hole spacing, bolt hole diameters, and the number of bolt holes are marked on steel profiles and steel plates based on the fabrication drawings. Marking is typically carried out using a scriber, center punch, or chalk.
