Engineering Research Insights (EngReIns) is an independent scholarly platform dedicated to publishing evidence-based reviews of peer-reviewed engineering research. Rather than publishing original research articles, the platform critically evaluates and synthesizes recently published studies from reputable scientific journals, making complex engineering knowledge more accessible to researchers, educators, graduate students, industry practitioners, and policymakers.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between scientific research and practical understanding by providing comprehensive, objective, and academically rigorous article reviews. Each review explains the significance of published research, presents its methodology in accessible language, discusses engineering implications, identifies research limitations, and highlights opportunities for future investigation.

Engineering Research Insights was founded and is edited by Rahmat Azis Nabawi, a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang, Indonesia. He is responsible for the platform's editorial direction, including topic selection, literature evaluation, scholarly writing, fact-checking, citation verification, and the publication of all content. His research interests include engineering design, manufacturing, and engineering education.

Our Independence

Engineering Research Insights is an independent scholarly platform. Although founded and edited by a faculty member of Universitas Negeri Padang, the platform operates independently and is not an official publication of the university or any journal, publisher, professional society, funding agency, or commercial organization.
